Great job so far!

I hide cauliflower puree in mashed potatoes and carrot puree in lots of my tomato based sauces and in taco meat. These are the only two I've tried, but would like to do more. Not only because it ensures that my kids are getting a little bit more nutrients (I also put whole veggies ON the plate that they are required to eat at least 4 bites of) but also because it adds a richness to the taste of what I'm making but doesn't scream CARROTS or CAULIFLOWER! Sauces are smoother, thicker, and just tastier with the added puree!

Really enjoyed this tour. Love when there is exposed shelving/storage in a kitchen and that island is to die for! Thanks for sharing.

What DOESN'T he do that drives me crazy? That's a better question. He doesn't load the dishwasher properly, or clean up his toothpaste spit, or EVER put a lid back on tightly, socks on floor every morning, Diet Coke cans that can't seem to find the recycling bin and dripped coffee on white counters everyday.

But after 22 years of marriage, I'm still madly in love with him -- quirks, pet peeves, imperfections and all, and there's an even longer list of wonderful things he does for me and the kids.

(And I'm sure he could give you a long list of my faults too!)

"backdrop" by Sherwin Williams is a lot like the color in the photo. I have it in my dining rm and love it.

I like this a lot - but would LOVE it if the handles were taken off or replaced with something black so that it blended with the doors.

The nook is to die for!

I have this same look in my son's room right now. White comforter with the olive green Army blanket on top. It IS itchy, so it's nice to have it over the comforter and not right on his skin. I love these blankets so much, was thinking of covering a headboard for my other son's room with one - a simple rectangular padded headboard with some nailhead trim around the edge.

Beyond creepy. But... I kind of dig it. Not the heads but the arms and legs. In the right space, with maybe one drawer done? Could be interesting.

OMG! That first photo with the panther on the bed! Reminded me of my (at one time) step mother - the first time I met her she was wearing a black satin jacket with a tiger face on the back! Classy.
