I bought 1" thick canvases (canvasses?) from Michaels or Joann Fabrics, some metallic acrylic paint, adhesive cork, and some quilt pins. Painted the canvases, adhered the cork to the back, and hang my jewelry from the quilt pins. I have one for earrings and one for necklaces, although I may need more. For my "uglier" earrings, I use shallow tealight holders from Ikea and a hammered metal tray from west elm. Nice and basic!
