Oy...love the bases and the room overall, but I REALLY don't like the shades. If the desire was to do male/female sides of the bed, they could have use a very subtle pattern of these images or the make/female symbols in an abstract way that would have looked a lot better here. Hey everyone! Thanks so far for your great suggestions. The paint and floor were recently replaced, and its a little hard to tell from the pic, but the cabinets are in BAD shape and desperately need a coat of something.
