I throw a bunch of veggies (and bacon or sausage) into a 9x12 egg-bake on the weekend. Once it's cooled off I cut them up into single serving pieces & reheat in the microwave (or toaster oven) throughout the week. Tip: sauté or roast veggies before baking in eggs or eggs will be watery.

I also like Valentine Coffee Roasters' Columbia Royal Select, "Chemical free, organic decaffeination process". You can find it online (or in Milwaukee): http://valentinecoffeeco.com/products-page/

Thanks for experimenting! I have had this idea to do the same thing for awhile, but wasn't sure what the process should be. This might be my weekend project.

Me too Kate! I thought, buy toffee? I'll make some toffee. My favorite toffee when I don't feel like making it here in Milwaukee is from our local grocer, Sendik's.

Oh how I wish I saw this sooner. I've been saying someone should invent one of these. Little did I know they existed.

I thought about the inside a pantry idea too. However, there's isn't any one dry food product we need that much of or buy that much of at one time.

I want to try the pasties some time, but this gave me an idea for ingredients I had. Made calzones and added mozzarella and kielbasa. The sage and squash was incredibly delightful.

Finally had the chance to make this tonight. Made it in the crock pot instead of dutch oven and turned out delightfully yummy. I would probably salt and pepper the "sauce" too and I like the idea of adding a chili or chili paste next time. The potatoes were awesomely delicious.

Ridiculously awesome! If you are like my partner and I, we're constantly trying to roast the perfect chicken. We've come up with all sorts of methods that work ok, but this would be the ideal way, in our humble opinion, to roast a chicken.

If anyone has a DIY way to do this that doesn't cost $180, I'd love to see pictures.
