I have a white Martha Stewart one from Macys. It's no Le Creuset but I think it is a great option for an affordable, useful dutch oven!

katie- i grew up going to a cabin north of brainerd! in pequot lakes. and the lodge looked just like this one, it must be standard lake lodge decor :)

and although i'm not sure 100% about starbucks food, i know they have taken steps recently to eliminate trans fats, artificial flavors/dyes and corn syrup from all of it. which is pretty good for a big time chain.

i use it in all sorts of things like the ones mentioned above. also have made a spicy/sweet pork chop by doing a rub of ancho chile powder and herbs on the chop, cooking on a grill pan and then glazing with the jam. very yummy!

2 bananas seems like too little to me. i make my banana bread with 4! i also use a little less flour, sugar and vanilla than your recipe. but you know how it is- we all think our recipe is the best! :)

i LOVE my dyson. i have the world's hairiest golden retriever and after blowing through 2 cheaper vacuums in her first year, we purchased a dyson and it has been faithful for over 5 years. i actually tried to vacuum her with the wand attachment once and it didn't do much :) but a doggy brush attachment is GENIUS. i will be buying this as soon as it arrives. the only other brush that even makes a dent in her shedding is the furminator.

Ina!! and while not 100% devoted to cooking, I'd love to go on Martha's show too. she always has such fabulous guest chefs, bakers, and homecooks!

if i was making them, i would try a version of a chocolate or caramel pecan pie. that would be perfect for fall and a little more unique than a traditional pecan pie.
