I actually like adding to the soup to make a meal - for example, leek and potato soup with some grilled salmon flaked on top. You'd be surprised at how little you need to add to make it feel like more than just a dinky bowl of soup. Best Things to Eat With Soup to Make a Complete Meal? Good Questions |

I live in PA, where Yuengling has always been an old standby. It's a nice, mellow brew that always tastes fresh. It's also fairly affordabe (at least here in PA) so you can order a pitcher to share with friends or buy a case for a party without taking out a loan to do so. Enjoy! It's True! Love, love love love. I can do a pretty tasty vegan version, but a little bit of butter (rather than oil) to saute the leeks makes it oh so tasty. In the winter I'll roast a piece of salmon while cooking the soup and flake the salmon over the top - amazingly delicious and hearty. Smoked cheese tastes like meat. I don't mind it so much, but I do find myself too distracted by the smoke flavor to enjoy the cheesy goodness. Yay or Nay? Smoked Cheese The Cheesemonger | Apartment Therapy The Kitchn |

Actually I saw the magazine this weekend at Barnes & Noble and was able to flip through it. It's priced at $10 and is printed on nice, non-glossy paper, probably recycled, with nice deeply saturated inks. Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | New Food Magazine: Jamie Magazine |

I have two Global knives: a 7" santoku and the 4" asian parer, and I can't say enough great things about them. I especially love that the steel flows seamlessly from the blade through the handle, which makes it really easy to clean. The santoku is exactly the right size and weight for a small girl with small hands, and if you were to own only one knife I would recommend it wholeheartedly.
