Your top loading washer is what ate your socks... take out the tub you will find them there. If you have kids never mind they are at school or well don't think about it too much just make cute crafts instead.

Hang a curtain between the beds. I like this curtain wire from ikea minimal hardware. If it falls or gets tugged on no big screen or curtain rod will crash down.

I would think a curtain rod that attached to door hinge would allow you to add privacy when you need it but keep the light available. As you can swing the curtain to cover the window when you need it.
I have seen pants hangers that attach to the hinge to keep out them out if the way so you might have to get creative in making one but it would solve the privacy issue.

Welcome to Denver. You will NOT need a high altitude cookbook in Denver. If you are moving to the mountains you will adjust a tablespoon or so of flour and that is about all. The humidity is lower so a tad more (drops) water will be needed for dough. The only recipes I change in Denver are the ones with things I don't like in them.

bCycle has been such a blast here in Denver. I live just far enough from the natural grocery that picking up a bike to go to the store for a few heavy things means I can still live with out driving my car even more. I can't wait for a few more options to pick up a bike.

My days always go better when I have "dinner" food for breakfast. I sometimes add an eggs for protein as that is also a good thing for a happy day. my 8am prof. years ago thought I was a total nut job ... until he realized i was the only one in class everyday (always eating pasta & sauce) ... all while passing every quiz he needed to give for his kicks and giggles.

In short I think it is ok. Right now we are trying to keep our schools open and our roads paved. A few extra pennies will not kill us.

I am intrigued with people who were pro raise tax on cigarettes but not corn syrupy soda. They all live in the same not good for you box. I do drink some soda and even some juice from time to time. I do not smoke but I do think we have to look at the bigger picture.

3. Roll out chilled dough on floured surface to about 1/8-inch thick and cut into desired shapes.
4. Place on ungreased baking sheets and bake for 6 to 7 minutes or until lightly browned.
Cool on the sheets about 1 minute before moving to racks. Decorate as desired.
