Sabudana khichdi is yum and as kids we often joined my mother when she kept her fasts just so that we could enjoy the khichdi...I like adding a little bit of coarsely chopped ginger with the cumin seeds and garnishing it with chopped green chillies and a sprinkle of coarsely chopped fresh coriander leaves gives it ...I skip the sugar too...oh yeah and a dash of lemon makes it even better :) Sago and Coconut for Breakfast: Sabudana Khichdi | Apartment Therapy The Kitchn |
