Okay - that's it! You've convinced me to paint one of my kitchen walls black! I love your kitchen and mine is very similar. I now know I can pull of that bold look thanks to your example. I've also made a goal of keeping it simple and downgraded to a smaller place a year ago. Even though my place is tiny, I couldn't be happier. Great job and thanks for the tour!

Great job! I live just down the street practically and I know how challenging it is to make such a small place work. But it's so worth it because the beach is our front yard! I picked a very similar shade of sand paint in my front room and it feels nice, relaxing and beachy. I like how you put up black and white photos against that color - I will try the same thing. Thanks for sharing.
