Great stuff especially the fireplace, old photos, and shelves under the stairs. Nice art too; the Venice-esque piece about the fish tank caught my eye.

Carpet in the bathroom is a bit weird although probably warmer than tile I suppose.

Beautiful. I love all the wood. The sliding shade panels on the exterior are very cool, as is the chimney / the fireplaces.

I do wonder about heating & privacy though. Whenever I see houses like this I just wonder if they installed curtains after the photo shoot. And I hope those windows are double (triple? quadruple?) paned. The folding patio door looks like it would be a serious heat sink. But anyway.. beautiful home!

Swanky. I see the appeal of drawers because like crates you can flip through the vinyl from the top. Keeps them safe from the elements/animals/kids too. But yeah, out of my price range for the moment. And here's me thinking Dual SF units are pricey ; D

I use an Ikea Markor which is perfect for a dj turntable setup on top, has 10 square shelves perfect for 12"s, and is $220. The rest of my vinyl goes in cheapo Expedit bookshelves.

@gregory, nice work on yours!

Impressive execution of vision. The "remote controlled drop-down movie screen with automated black-out curtains" and theater seating has me completely drooling. Nice vinyl section dividers too, lolz.

Oh yeah, lamps. I spend on floor lamps. But not ones that look like drafting compasses.

The lamp was a giveaway. And yeah, poor dog, shoehorned into a Corbusier dog bed, lol.

I spend disproportionately on seating because your body doesn't give a crap about the quality of your rug, or table for that matter, provided it's at the right height. With a bigger budget though... ; )

Yep it's open to the public. I used to work around the corner. We would buy Secret Santa gag gifts here like fake cakes.
