No stairs in my house. But my mom is buying a house and I might just have to suggest two stories so we can do this for all the little grankids. I would be happy if it looked half as cute as this one!

These are really cute. Now when I walk in someones house with a real animal head, it creeps me out a little but to each their own. The sheep is just funny. I hope no one has a real sheep head mounted on their wall.

Or buy them a Dave Ramsey book. Then they can be debt free and pay cash for all the places they go.

What, you didn't continue onto the ceiling? Jk this amazing! I love painting murals, too. Never anything this complex. Bravo!

I have found many smaller rockers at thrift stores from about $10 to $30. You can get a nice upholstery fabric for $10 -$20/ yd. Then you should be able to find an upholsterer to do the work for around $300. That's still out of my budget but maybe its in yours.

What a great idea. Im obsessed with figuring out how things work/are made. Im not sure if my daughter would be as interested as me. I wish this was up at the beginning of summer. My little one starts school Monday.

well half of my front door is glass, not covered up and leads directly into my living room-no entry way. It's really hard for me to peek around the corner without the person at the door seeing me. I probably wouldn't have answered if I saw that it was a teenager. They are usually trying to sell magazines.

My kitchen doesn't even compare to these but I do have a very large window above my sink looking out into my roses. It is one of the things that sold me. It really is so refreshing and peaceful, although now that im preggo, the heat from the sun makes me want to pass out sometimes :)

man, I scored. found some twice as wide at a yard sale for $4 bucks a piece. they were old swimming pool locker baskets. Of course they don't have the cute liner. It was hard for me to pay $16 for 4 of them. haha

Did you see the post about green wall paint a day or two ago? I can totally see the green in the first picture in this room, especially since you have art from south africa and america. Of course, grey is my favorite color and you couldn't go wrong with it in here! Lowes carries a grey called frappe. It is gorgeous!
