How about having sofa floating near the back of the room? I will place the sofa between the white chair and the garbage can (both sides with aisle to walk into the living room). Then the desk placed behind the sofa. So when you walk into the apartment, you see the desk first then the sofa in front of the desk. Maybe try it at a slight angle too. I saw many rooms like this and looks nice. This also allows you to define your living room. Carpet will also be needed to cover the wires from desk to the walls. How to Furnish New Living Room? I just hang 6 Ribba last weekend and contrary to what is being said... I actually liked it and found it quite easy to adjust height or left/right even if your nail is in the wrong place... the reason being that the 2 clips at the back can be easily moved up or down... who said you can only relocate the nails!? With the 2 clips being movable, we are able to "correct" and "fine tune" the frame height and or left/right. no?! Setting Up Home: A Quick Tip for Hanging Frames |
