My Clean usually consists of a sweep/vacuum and windex of glass tabletop surfaces an hour or so before, and a quick pillow toss back to the sides of the couch as i run to answer the door... I like having a neat and clean place to live on a daily basis, and I don't have the type of friends that walk around with a white glove or would 'poo poo' me if i miss a few dust bunnies in a corner. I'm extremely sensitive to smoke, and notice it both in public and at home... It is something that gives me an almost instant headache and because of this I wish that there was no smoking allowed anywhere, period. It has no health benefits so I truly don't get why people do it in any case! Help! Smoking Dilemma Dividing the Condo Community Good Questions |

I dont know whats up lately, but i've been on the 'before' train a lot more than the 'after'. I love before after posts and was excited to see what they did... but when I saw that dining room amoeba/bacteria (?) wallpaper and the old wood accent wall I visibly cringed. Framing out that bar seating area made it seem to shrink to about half its size, and though there are certain aspects of the kids area I like, I agree that the green trim looks like forgotten painters tape. For an area that doesn't have a door to separate it from the other rooms, it is just too bizarre and different looking with that wallpaper and those (polka dot?) doors. I'm normally one to like afters more than the before, but this after is not for me, I dislike the white wainscotting they put underneath the desk, not a fan of the final wood tone or how the drawer is so visible against the paint of the legs, and am not a fan of the final dark tone of the handles... I love that style of drawer pull, and find the mix of stainless steel counter and stained butcherblock gorgeous. Makes me want to stain the top of my chopping block cart Before & After: An Updated 1940's Kitchen The Home Project |

Do you provide other solutions for the cats to scratch? posts, cardboard, etc.? making these more readily available may help in addition to using deterrents around the bed, there are some sprays you can get from the pet store that deter the cats to spray around the bed, and perhaps throw in a catnip spray on the post to make it more appealing. Am I the only one who has no clue how that mirror could have possibly gotten into the space? It doesn't look like it has any seams where two pieces of glass butt up against each other within the frame, and it looks far too wide and tall to have ever gone through a standard door. How is this different than living in a duplex or triplex? many homes in my city have been split into two side by side separate units. The way this was worded would make me think the home itself has some sort of temporary wall between the two sides of the home, or just uninsulated drywall (which would be a fire hazard as there would be no stopping a fire in one unit from spreading to the second).
