With the appropriate designs, I think these could be really great incorporated into scandinavian decor. Unfortunately these are way out of my budget, and I'm definitely not skilled enough to try this on my own!

I think Heather77's tips are genius, and I especially like the idea of stainless appliances slate floor. That said, I really find white appliances to be much more forgiving of everyday kitchen use, so maybe just go with slightly darker floors and countertops. I would skip on black appliances, I think those plus the potentially dated-looking cabinets are going to shove your kitchen straight back into the 90s.

I've got the exact same colors going on in my rental kitchen, and I find them very hard to work with without being able to change ANYTHING!

this is an adorable space and I love your organization of it, but seriously, this is WAY too many pictures for a room that's probably 6ft x 10ft! I kept expecting pics of the rest of your house!

oh, I love this! Very cute, and not in a little girl way, but a wonderful, bright, cheery, welcoming way! And for the most obscure sourcing question every: where are the adorable tea towels from? I'm starting to think I need some new ones!

love your place! very happy feeling, and most of it is quite affordable. I also would love sourcing information for the wall hooks as well as your dishes if you don't mind, both are beautiful.

Khatam- I think the painting is both a little small and crooked, but I like the idea nonetheless. The puzzle pieces also reminded me of gold stars, like the sticker variety you get in kindergarten!

Oh, and maybe this is just me, but I often find beautiful wrapping papers that I can barely stand to throw away after they've been used. Using leftover scraps for the lining would be a nice idea...

I use a couple large bamboo steamers as jewelry boxes. Definitely remember to line the bottom with something though, as the larger steamers tend to have even larger gaps in the bottom. I used a natural material placemat (found on super-clearance at Target) and just cut out a few circles for the liner.
