definitely use vinyl covered wire mesh. alone the wire might cut/hurt your pets. but vinyl covered will protect them. you can easily get a few yards at a hardware store for about $20.

i mounted a sturdy wide shelf w/brackets, and then used molding/furring strips as a box frame. then stapled the vinyl-covered mesh along the frame. my pet loves it, and spends hours in the sun!

Good Questions

I like the container too, and so I clicked on the image link.
In response to the same question, the owner answered:

"This lunch box is what lunch service company at Hefei China brings. I don't have idea if you can get it at your country.
When you go to China, you'll find it at super market. "

We live near a huge Asian market, so I'll keep my eyes open for it. Perhaps Biggie at Lunchinabox.net knows?

Love it! i have a small white and gray marble one.
I actually use it everyday for grinding spices or nuts, and crushing garlic. We eat garlic every day. :)

mmmm....think I'm gonna make this right now.

And totally random, but your post reminded me of that old BBC show called "Chef." In particular, in one episode where he was looking for the perfect cheese.
As he would say, "Halle-bloody-lujah. Cow and bug in perfect harmony." :)

I always keep garlic butter on hand too.
Just roast some garlic, mash, and cool.
Then mix with some softened butter.

I think it also depends on where you live.
I would recommend NEVER to use any public grills in Berkeley...man, the things I've seen homeless or drunken frat boys do would give you nightmares.

Egg roll wraps or pastry stuffed with mango and banana puree (sometimes with chocolate chips or cream cheese).
Deep fried.
Served alone, or dusted with sugar or with a syrup.

Carrie too, you don't need anything special to rinse the starch off rice. Any bowl will do the job. Just add water and swish the rice around with your hand. Then drain.
You keep doing that until the water runs clear. We've been cleaning rice this way for years (also conserves water since there is an official drought in Cali) Hope this helps.
