I don't save labels, but I do save different-shaped bottles. They're nice to have in my home brewing batch. Do You Ever Save Empty Beer Bottles with Cool Labels? Beer Sessions |

I just don't understand why a person paints their house, or an old piece of furniture that was in poor shape, in order to make it personalized. Don't they realize that offends me! Before & After: Erin's Painted House 110 + 2 |

In the past when I was dieting, it was all about portions of things I love. I'm not dumb, I know for a fact I can't resist a cheeseburger. So I'll order the Little Cheeseburger from Five Guys without fries. Yeah, I could eat a bowl of fruit for breakfast, but I'm going to be happier with 2 fried eggs and a single strip of bacon. I had to know myself. Completely denying myself only made it harder. What's the Best Way to Lose Weight Without Doing a Crazy Diet? Good Questions |

For me, a brewery stops being "craft" when they put quantity of production ahead of quality of ingredients and technique. I like the idea of opening another brewery in a separate part of the country to ease distribution. Chemically treating the water seems excessive, but I understand they want to maintain as much consistency as possible. Hey, whatever gets exciting new beer to Texas is okay with me! @Alicelost - That's an interesting way to look at it. It is pretty tasty. Dogfish Head is a pretty great brewery, so I can't hold that one gripe against them. I still enjoy their Punkin' Ale and Namaste quite a bit (and obviously their IPAs). Beer Review: Aprihop from Dogfish Head Craft Brewery Beer Sessions |

I thought it was good, but not great. I prefer Titan (Great Divide) or Stormcloud (Rahr & Sons) for an everyday IPA (I just finished a home brew of IPA I get to try next weekend). And I really like a good hop bomb on special occasions. I'll admit I'm a big fan of bold hops, so this isn't really marketed towards me. I've had Monk's Café Flemish Sour Ale and enjoyed it. Though it is odd to drink something so tart and call it beer. It'd probably make a fantastic brunch beverage, but it's not an everyday drinker for me. I'll stick to my stouts and IPAs. Beer Review: Rodenbach Flemish Sour AleBeer Sessions |

I feel like a wimp now. I've never opened a beer with such force that the cap has flown across the room. Plus I own the Hermetus Bottle Opener & Resealer from Kaufman Mercantile (Thanks for the gift, AT!) and it's not quite big enough to hold a magnet on there as wel. Rahr Brewery in Texas puts cocoa nibs in one of their beers to make a special edition of their stout, Snowmageddon. They don't bottle it. At least not yet. Bitter Crunchy Chocolate Bits: Cacao Nibs Ingredient Spotlight |
