I love this idea! I've made a few felt foods for my daughter and they get really pilly really fast (but they take some time and patience to craft!) This would be less work! Last Minute Gift To Make: Foam Food | Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh |

I have a skull like that in my living room, with a big, vintage, red, faux poppy tucked behind the horn...it's my tribute to Georgia O'keeffe. I love the idea for a western inspired kids room. I don't know what my son would have thought of it as a baby, but he's been asking for one in his room since he was 5 (he's 7 now) He loves all things nature, animal skulls and bones included. I think the form, color and texture of the skull is quite beautiful. Apartment Therapy ohdeedoh | Skulls in the Nursery |

Thanks for letting me share! I forgot to mention, for Gabby's chalkboard, we cut off the legs of the headboard...but on Nick's we just left it as is. Apartment Therapy ohdeedoh | Look! Chalkboards Made From Crib Parts |

Darn...maybe they'll have a 'just barely bigger than small' contest soon? My house is just barely bigger than 1000 sq. feet. "Awe shucks" as my daughter would say! Apartment Therapy ohdeedoh | Starting Tomorrow! The Smaller Cooler Kids' Room Contest |

WOW. I love this! Thanks for the great idea for the oven racks. We've tried a few things on our play kitchen (gabby's pink play kitchen) but nothing has worked well. I love this idea! Everything about this kitchen is fabulous...and I love that it was built for a BOY. My son loves playing with his sister and her kitchen (he loved helping build it too!) oops...left out the fact that the cats pee on our front porch, poo in our flower beds and wake us in the middle of the night with their mating rituals...which is why we're trying the moth ball trick! Apartment Therapy DC | Squirrel and Neighbor Dilemma |

We have a similar issue with the 'cat lady' who lives next door. She has a little cat hotel set up on her back porch where she feeds and waters every stray cat in the neighborhood (which has greatly increased that number). An employee at our local hardware store reccomended we use moth balls to deter them. As soon as the weather warms up and we ready our porch for summer living, I plan on trying the moth ball trick. I'm not sure about squirrels, but possibly moth balls would deter them as well? Apartment Therapy DC | Squirrel and Neighbor Dilemma |

Our kids our now 7 and have the entire upstairs of the house, except for my desk and the small area surrounding it. They each have a bedroom upstairs and there is an arts & crafts area as well. All toys belong upstairs, in their bedrooms, but they are allowed to play with things downstairs. The toys just go back upstairs when play time is over. We keep a basket at the bottom of the stairs to toss stuff throughout the day. In their rooms, their are storage containers and other tubs, cubbies and baskets designated (and often labeled) for each type of toy, so clean up is (should be) easy. Those big, rectangular, under the bed storage tubs are great for storing things like Barbies, legos and race track sets under the bed. Apartment Therapy ohdeedoh | Do You Have Toy-Free Rooms? |

Could you use plumbing pipe and fittings? I think that's what I'd use. You should be able to find that at any hardware store. Apartment Therapy Chicago | Good Questions: Floor to Ceiling Curtain Rod Info?#comments#comments |

what a sweet room! One of my favorite parts is that little doll bed at the foot of the crib...how sweet! Where ever did you find it? The photo of your two lil' sweeties on the bed is just precious. Apartment Therapy - Nursery Tour: May's Hip and Little Room |
