Today we are finally painting the closet in our bedroom (a 4x9 walk in that I share w/ my husband) for my Mothers Day present. We bought a gallon of Natura from the Ben Moore store this morning. I've painted with all kinds of no and low VOC paints, milk paint etc and NEVER have I ever had a worse experience than this. The paint does not cover well and every time you go back over it with the roller it pulls the paint off. Terrible terrible terrible. Tomorrow we'll have to get another gallon of paint from somewhere else and spend Mothers Day painting again. Natura really STINKS! I made this yesterday but it never hardened. I have a huge blob of soggy caramel/chocolate. It tastes good, but I can't give it away and there is no way we can eat all of this (sugar coma, extended muffin top....). I'm excited. Want to do the whole house... but we're lacking funds and we rarely agree on what to do (I'm warm, my husband is uber cool), so I'll just start with our living room. One reason we are lacking funds is because we ordered a sectional for the room two weeks ago (before I knew about the 8 week Cure!). I hope we didn't just buy the "wrong" thing, but I'm happy to have already committed to a foundation, and I look forward to building around that during this 8 weeks. If we can't execute everything at least we can plan it. Pictures of "the sad state of before" coming soon.
