Let's not forget Station North! North Avenue is not what it used to be, and most weekend nights you will see the place teeming with young artsy people milling about from one place to the next. :)

Am I really the only person that knows about adding a mashed hard boiled egg? It adds to the creaminess and makes it go a lot further...I have to admit I was hesitant at first, but now I'll never go back.

The stairs float so there's about 2 inches of clearance between them and the walls which the drapes could fall, but then that runs the risk of looking weird as well. As for the house, it's a 14' wide rowhome built in 1902, so locations for stairs were limited and the windows are original. Also I've thought of building out the stairs to be solid and getting rid of the railing to avoid visual competition, thoughts?

Until then, I will take my dog to Wyman park, and frequent the restaurants and shops that the author so fondly speak of.

We brought home an 18th century Ox yoke from an Amsterdam flea market; we were held up at the ticketing counter for an hour while they decided how to process this "baggage". In the end, it went in the in with the skies and strollers. :)
