I have a mini schnauzer in my apartment. She's highly intelligent, docile (but a lot of that is breeding) and she doesn't shed, which is nice. I wish we had a backyard to take her out in, but she doesn't mind. She loves playing in the house.

1. My name is Claire.
2. I love the Iron Vines and the flock.
3. I've been looking for something to adorn my bedroom walls, and the decals would look great in my soft blue and taupe bedroom with the faux chandelier I just installed.

This is my recipe too, and I tinker with the garlic and salt and lemon juice, but I also add some crushed red pepper (powdered) and some Hungarian Paprika from Penzey's Spices. It gives it a subtle kick.

the bed facing the door is probably a better idea. Since it's a big room, the bed doesn't need to be pushed against one wall. Lose the art. If you want color, I've taken a large canvas (or several canvas panels), picked a fabric that picked up colors in my bedspread (which is solid), like a nice damask pattern. I'd add lamps near the bed and maybe throw some artsy black and white prints on the walls in black frames—or you could do vintage ads in frames. Maybe add a seating area to fill some space. Scour craigslist/thrift stores. I got a great tufted chair for $10 in great condition at a thrift store. If you want a cheap ottoman, buy a storage ottoman from Wal-Mart or Target and cover it if you don't like it (staple guns are great). Then I'd add a floor lamp for some height and light by the chair; maybe a small cocktail table, and if you want a reading area, a bookshelf to give it some height with great books/interesting knick knacks.
