I used the trainers you get at Target or Walmart. I ordered some from Etsy and there's really no difference unless you NEED designer fabric.
My kiddo could really tell the difference when he had an accident. When I went out I took two pairs of jeans, extra socks and shoes. It took about a week and he was fully trained!

I would totally buy one of these on Etsy. I can't drill a hole in anything to save my life.

I was going to ask if these were actually for real!? There is no way I am carrying a potty to the grocery store so my child can pull his pants down in the parking lot and poop! You have GOT to be kidding me!? Talk about freaked out... what if they go through a phase where they can only poop in public or the back of the car!? I get the one to fit over a regular seat and even that's disgusting but the others...?

Not at our house! I can totally see the suggestions of a special needs child.

Comments say it was from Calico Corners although they don't seem to have it on their site, but that was from 2008. Cool fabric though!

@roxtarchic - I know I can't justify the price tag either. My guy watches YouTube. I am careful to monitor him but I pull it up and type into the search engine "trains"...or Disney Cars, etc. Currently he loves the Thomas App.
In my first comment I was going to say the same thing...I don't think my 3 year old has dropped it once...mommy on the other hand is a different story.

I have two pet gates on the stairs. My son is almost three. I have really steep stairs that I myself have slid down more than once. When do you typically remove them? Or does it depend on the kid/situation?
Never the less, they were WAY cheaper than babygates and I could not be happier with them and my child has yet to be able to climb them.

My son is pretty good about it. It's every third time he decides not too. The trick I used to get him to open & let me do it for him was "can I look for choo choo trains in your teeth" or insert your childs favorite thing. Either he wants to brush his teeth or he wants nothing to do with it. In that case I don't present it as a choice to him. Has to be done and usually we manage.

I had this same problem. On the second step I had a banister post added and then I had a place to put the baby gate between the wall and the banister. If you are handy and can cut your own to length it's really inexpensive. I had someone come insatall one for me and it really wasn't that expensive. He did it in such a way that I can have it removed when the gate come down. It's does not beling where it is but I just had to work around that fact for a few years.

I would love to know more about the large painting over the bed.
