Ahh, memories! We used to do this when I was an undergrad at RISD. It's a great technique but not without its challenges. A minute of pliability is a rather generous estimate. We would always make sure to have every tool at the ready and a reliable (and strong) team of helpers. The results were usually good and it was always a good time!
