Yay! I bought some rinds last night at Harris Teeter and used them in my risotto, but this is awesome to hear. I'll make some veggie stock this weekend and throw the rinds in for some added fatty depth.

I do this! Usually with grey and blue basics and some pops of color in shoes and tops. Bring a variety of small accessories and you're good to go!

Oh, and most importantly - WEAR the largest items in your luggage when you're travelling. Wear your coat, your boots, your belt, your sweatshirt, etc.

Editing is awesome and a way to grow. Maybe they meant "don't call it editing"?

I agree about #5: I'm a percolator and sometimes ideas bubble around for months, years, before they come to the surface. If I discarded everything after a week, I'd get nothing done.

I LOVE #6: The point of being done is not to finish but to get other things done.

But I would add (as a structured procrastinator) that the opportunity of being stuck is to get other things done.

I hate these "makeovers." The wood from the cornice alone would be $17. And the stainless sheet for the dishwasher? And a new hood for the stove?

Right? If you're going so far as to melt wax, just make your own freaking candles.
