Great home and i am not sure where this town is up here in upstate NY as i live in the Adirondacks as well. Would love to see a full tour of this home for more inspiration.

Nice job....and yes i'm with you on just taking an antique dresser and giving it new life with some paint and a set of new knobs. There is nothing better than a Solid Wood dresser with large drawers to hold all your belongings. Most new dressers today mock the style of old antique dressers yet there are often not made of wood and cost more...What's wrong with people...

I too spent a few day's at the show, and i was really impressed with a few of the smaller vendors such as
Giacini Altelier - their canvas bags, Pom Pom at Home by
Hilde Leiaghat for their beautiful organic bedding, Patch, NYC
had a new yummy line of scented candles and a charming company called Bailey Doesn't Bark for their stationery and
dishware. I also thought the show at the Pier was just fabulous as i loved all the burlap!

Love the style of those Pink Chairs...however as an Antique Dealer i am just a big fan of the wooden chair like the Bentwood chair which i now see reproductions of everywhere at double the price of an original. I say funky/retro is fine for a trend but i am sold on the classic look of a simple wooden chair.

Well designed for the space....and it seems apartments on the Upper East side have changed since i live up there. I like the concrete and the whole wall of storage.

Charming. I have had quite a few chairs similar to this in my shop and this is a great and simple way to give a chair with great bones a new look! Love it and i am off to her blog to read more. Thanks for sharing..
