I have one and don't like it, so it sits in a corner not bedeviling dirt. A bad case of function following form.

The thing looks and feels as if it's going to slip out of your hand, so I tend to hold it with an iron grip.

Even worse, to return the devil to the base after use, you have to line up a mini-plug on the dustbuster with a mini-socket on the base. Neither is visible unless you get down on your hands and knees in the corner you've stuck the machine in... no visual clues on the outside of the cone.

I suppose I could make a Sharpie mark on the cone where the two meet, but, hey, shouldn't the dirt devils have thought of that?

My only problem with this approach is that it makes me wonder if these people live in an R&B store or have live-in photo stylists. (I really would consider sprinkling those numbered dots around my living room, however). Judging from the Parkers's Trucker, Lanie's Blue, and the Bruesses' Fred, if you want to get into this catalog, you'd better get yourself a dog.
