I think chocolate brown with a nice bright blue trim would look pretty...

don't do it!

I'm a single girl with no plans for children ever, but that mural would probably sell the house to me. I would make it an office or guest room or art studio or something, I don't know, but I love it!

I wouldn't use these at home, but I've found them very useful for the bathroom in our small boutique. we didn't want to install a big ugly papertowel dispenser on the wall, so we've been buying these instead.

my friend and I recently opened a doggie boutique and when we were picking out paint colors, we were originally afraid of pink and leaned toward yellow. but the yellow ended up looking sickly, and the pink just called to us. I'm glad it did, because it turned out freaking adorable. everyone (ok, mostly the women) that walk in the store freak out and start squealing when they see it. we ended up pairing it with a metallic gray that really makes it pop. :)

I am an animal control officer, and I gotta say, I pick up a lot of stray dogs wearing these "correction" collars. I think if a dog is motivated enough, he/she will ignore the pain and go right through the barrier. It may work for some dogs, but I'd stick with a good old fashioned fence.

wow, that's amazing! although, it makes me sad because I have that same shower curtain that I bought as a "temporary" fix for my bathroom last spring cure. haha. I rent though and can't really do anything like change the flooring in my teeny bathroom.

I found PAM works best for over easy flipping, anything else and the egg sticks to the pan. med-low heat.

lately though, I've been much more into poached eggs. healthier, oh-so tasty, and you don't have to flip em.

I love my electric blanket. I also have no central heat in my house (well, we do, but something about it jacks the electric bill up by $100 a month so we never use it) and on some of our colder winter nights my down comforter didn't do the trick. I'd literally be shivering in bed. the electric blanket is a lifesaver. a heated matress pad sounds nice too, but with the blanket if it gets too hot I can kick it off in my sleep.
