OK....to paint it. (I think I might have even found this from someone else's post a while back....). Super easy. I layed out the lyrics in illustrator and had it printed 3x4' at kinkos. I got carbon tracing paper at the local art store. Unfortunately they don't have giant pieces, but I was able to get a 12' long piece that was 12" wide. So I just had to cut three 4' strips and tape it onto the canvas. Then taped the printed paper over and got to tracing. I did large black solid letters on white paper....in hindsight, if i did a black/non-white background and did the lines of the letters dropped out in white, it would have been easier to track what had been traced and what still needed to be done..... Once it was traced, I painted. Thankfully I wasn't too picky on the color of the words being perfect white, so I was able to just paint the black and leave the letters the color of the canvas. I am really happy with the way it turned out. I would say this, in total, took me about 40-50 hours (I am a slow painter I guess!). Worth every second! Good luck.

Thanks for the nice comments!!

I had painted the picture....it was super simple, just very very time consuming!

The rugs....I taped them together with duct tape, then got a large non-slip mat and taped that to them to hold it all together. I haven't had any problems with it separating yet and it's been a year and a half. Good luck!

Finally the sheepskin....I actually use a swaddle blanket to cover half of the pad that her bottom lies on. That way I can easily throw that in the hamper and put a new one on. Plus I like the way she is nice and cozy in there instead of rolling around.

Thanks to everyone for your comments! So happy you like the room.

The print is from my hubby's work (they worked with an artist on a special project last year). I love it too!

The train is painted on a giant skateboard deck. This is all that survives from a giant toy/statue.

I hope everyone has a great holiday!!!
