custard powder is most commonly seen as Bird's custard- it's a short, squat tin with a red top. you can find it at cost plus or most higher end grocery stores with an (British) import section.

totally unnecessary. the small, round glasslock or pyrex containers do the same thing without absorbing any onion smell.

I would love to keep my cooling racks, cutting boards and other large accouterments in a basket on the floor, but a particularly hairy feline creature in my home produces dust bunnies that collect in the kitchen.

does anyone have another suggestion? cabinet space is at a premium. right now, cutting boards are stored on a cart, cooling racks are stored behind the cart (and covered in hair) and most large utensils are on top of the cupboards.

perhaps they don't have driving licenses, or parking in the neighborhood is less than ideal...or maybe they just wanted to move by bike. why does it matter to anyone but them?
