A! I'm an architect, and part of my job is designing very nice kitchens. What good is the open floor space in options B and C if you're facing a wall of cabinets? Yuck! You want the island facing a wall of glass so that while you're working in the kitchen you have a beautiful view. It's also far more efficient work space. A! A! A! i second that-- i went to a west elm store a few weeks back, and was frankly shocked at the pier 1/ limited too mash-up that was before my eyes. everything seeme ultra cheap, and i shop at ikea. Apartment Therapy - What's your take? West Elm Fall 2007 catalog |
