Vernonlee, these pictures were taken with a crop sensor camera. It isn't stated in the article, but there is no rectilinear (keeps the lines straight) 11mm lens for a full-frame DSLR. 18-55mm on a crop sensor camera is a standard midrange zoom, whereas 18mm on a full-frame camera would be pretty darn wide (equivalent to what you're seeing with the 11mm lens in the post above).

I use a Kinesis Freestyle keyboard. I have a large Wacom tablet front and center on my desktop, and the Kinesis sits on either side of it. No bent wrists, no awkward reach for the tablet or the delete key. It's perfect.

Put me in the camp that likes it. Cover the windows with those stickers that make them look frosted, then put some bright lights in the laundry room to shine through the windows. It would create a very cool look and would open up the room visually.

Professional photographer here. I bought an S95 back in November and absolutely love it. My favorite use for the camera is when I'm out traveling and want options without hassle. On vacation in the Caribbean recently, I had my Nikon with a 70-200 2.8 for the telephoto and bokeh, and the S95 for normal and wider shots. It was the perfect combination, and I didn't have to keep a lens pouch with a wider angle lens for the Nikon.

Additionally, I bought a waterproof housing for the camera ($170ish) and can take it with me to the pool, the beach, or the lake for worry-free shooting on and under the water.

Shortly after moving into my new house, I was woken up around 3:00 am by a loud crashing noise. I sat bolt upright and listened for what seemed like an eternity. I heard nothing more, but I wasn't going to be able to sleep without figuring out who (or what) else was in the house with me. I grabbed a flashlight and weapon from my bedside and went hunting through the house, room by room. Nothing upstairs, nothing in the basement. I must have searched for ten minutes, flinging open closet doors and even looking in my kitchen cabinets.

Finally, I gave up the search and decided to get back into bed. I wasn't going to sleep, but at least I'd be in an easily-defensible position. Just as I was crawling back into my bed, my flashlight happened upon an empty shelf -- the one that I had stacked my shoes on earlier that evening. Gravity finally had taken over in the middle of the night and the crash was what had woken me up.

Just a couple of weeks ago, I had the same thing happen with a mirror in my kitchen. Seeing as it was 6:00 am, I wasn't worried about an intruder and fell back asleep shortly after.

I have a small sectional that actually works very well in my smallish living room. It's low, very low, and it only has a curved corner piece and loveseat-sized side. One ottoman is attached to the side by the wall, in order to make seating if necessary, and the other sits in the middle of the "L" as a coffee table.
