Hi everyone, thanks for the sweet comments and thanks for Ohdeedoh for sharing.

The beds were made by my husband. We used the really thin IKEA mattresses, they fit perfectly length wise in the space and he built to fit. We are going to do a blog post soon on how we did it.

The floor is a 8 x 10 linoleum roll out. We painted it black and white and added a coat of finish. Other than some rolling at the edges, it is doing great! Quick clean ups and for a 35 dollars, we don't care about the spills.

HOpe that helps!

Haha, @jaimemariel.

I have always used those names whenever I am on websites and blogs. It's just their nicknames.

This is a 3rd bedroom. We converted it to an art room. That is a dining room table, a very old one that was going to be sold, we cut down the legs and repurposed it as the art table.

We double the room as a guest room for our 2 nieces when they come for a sleepover.

Hope that answers your questions!

Hi everyone!

Thanks to Ohdeedoh for featuring the party and thanks to everyone for the sweet and kind comments.

The tables were Costco 6 foot tables. We put two of them together, legs up (closed) and we placed them on top of clear tub/plastic storage containers. They are the large kind that you get at Target or the Container Store. They were just the right height for toddlers sitting on their tushies or their knees.

The kids had a great time and I loved every minute of creating her special day!

We did exactly that...used our vacation to try out the transition of getting our girls into the same room. It worked like a charm.

My girls are 14 months apart, 3 and 2. We really needed the extra bedroom for guests. I wanted them to share a room together but could never bring myself to interrupt our nice and cozy sleeping schedule/arrangement. I took the trip as a practice round and they LOVED it. The minute we got back home they wanted to be in the same room and they have done amazing ever since. We do have the guest bedroom as an emergency if need be but so far so good.

Speaking of the room, I have been working on getting it together while they have been sleeping in it and plan on sharing soon with Ohdeedoh!

We have those beds. 2 of them. There are 3 size options for them since they are extend-able. The 3rd option is a twin size. The bed and sheets fit just fine. Definitely consider the tucking vs non-tucking in.

I am getting ready to share our big girl room with these beds. I love how it turned out. The black iron really pops!
