Boligmagasinet, a Danish publication, is adorable! Their web site is ok, but in print it is absolutely great. The homes they show are light and airy, and still often full of colors. :) You have to love Scandinavian design, though. Sometimes there are a few too many Arne Jacobsen chairs... I love that show! And the apartments _and_ people pictured, of course. I guess I'm a bit of a nerd too, no surprises there... Apartment Therapy Chicago | NBC's Chuck At The Viceroy |

From the other side of the world: Ikea rage happen all the time in Norway too... :) I particularly dislike the part where we try to fit everything in our car. To prevent the rage, we always start the trip in the restaurant, making sure our blood sugar levels are up. We have also promised that when we have children, we will not "_just_ stop by on the way home from kindergarten". It doesn't work that way, parents! (feeling a little ikea-rage coming on just by thinking about it...) Apartment Therapy Los Angeles | Does Ikea Cause Arguments?? Melbourne |

I suppose it has at least as many meanings as vegetarianism - it's highliy personal what you allow yourself :) Thanks for the explanation - and yes, their business philosophy sounds nice. Is it really considered local as long as the product is finished (in this case burnt and grounded) somewhere near you? I thought it had to be grown locally too? I noticed that delapaz sold Ethiopian coffee, so I'm curious about your definition. Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | The Locavore’s Delight: Five Delicious Reasons to Appreciate the Bay Area |

Congratulations! :) Perfect timing for this post - me an my boyfriend (soon to be husband) is in the middle of the same project: Making tapas for 50 people for our wedding reception next Saturday. Glad to read that you made it, it makes me believe we can too! :) Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | Living the DIY Wedding: The Food |

I was told to use walnut oil, as it is said not to go stale. It has worked wonders on our butcher block, and it gets a wonderful golden hue. No minerals too.. Apartment Therapy New York | Best Products: Bee's Oil |

I don't have an induction top myself, but rumours from friends say that induction is really, really fast - and easy to adjust. It's at least a greener alternative to a regular ceramics top, if that's one of your options. Good luck on choosing! Apartment Therapy The Kitchen | Good Question: What Is Induction Cooking? |

A solution to two of your problems is to tuck your _long_ shirt into your pants, you know! A solution to the first problem you adressed is sledding in "Korketrekkern" in Oslo, the former bob sleigh-path from the Olympics in 1952. You sled down, then use the subway to get up. Sledding is the best thing, even as a grown-up :) *crossing my fingers that the snow will stay* Apartment Therapy - Top Ten Sleds |

I would go for a Siemens induction top if I could. I have a Siemens regular ceramic top, and it´s great. The safety issue, and the energy saving, is a big plus for the induction tops. :) Unfortunately, I have no idea of the price range in the U.S., I suppose they´re in the mid range in Norway and the rest of Europe. Good luck! Apartment Therapy - Good Question: What's the Best Electric Stove? |

I absolutely love these roofs, but unfortunately they´re not a common sight anymore. However, there are companies here in Norway specializing in making new turf roofs, so maybe that´s what I´ll get when I get around to building a house. And maybe let a goat feast on the green green grass :) Apartment Therapy - Green Around the World: Green Roofs |
