Speaking of wall paper, does anyone know of a good place to find wallpaper in the bay area? I'm looking for something textured (ie. grass-cloth or straw). I was going to check out Home Depot or the Design Expo.

Oh my... is that silver-leafed wall-paneling? I did a room where we silver-leafed the crown-moldings and in less than 6 months the moldings all tarnished. It was a very costly decorating mistake.

Hmmm... I noticed the barn door separating the toilet from the dressing area. I love that! But can you still peek into the toilet from the bedroom area? I was looking at the first picture and you can see the toilet thru the shower curtain.

Wow... what a sexy, sexy apt. The bathtub so appeals to the shy exhibitionist in me. :P

With that said, I can see why some people have issues w/ the bed/bathroom floorplan. It would be kind of strange to be doing your business and have someone potentially looking inside. I would probably place a half wall to obscure the view of the toilet. It could be a high ledge to place candles and other bathroom paraphernalia. Of course, that solution doesn't address the sound issue. But then again, even in my apt where there is a door to my bathroom, I CAN still hear everything. That's what the running water is for...

This floorplan feels more suited to a master bath/bedroom setup where there is also a separate bathroom for guests who might not be as unihibited.

But overall, I love , love, love this space. Great new floorplan and re-working of the corridor to make it more useful. It definitely feels like spa-living. BRAVO!

Don't call me stalkerish but I actually know where this apt is located. It's directly across from my apartment in Brooklyn Heights. What a coincidence... I work from home and my desk is right in front of the window. So whenever I look up from my computer and stare outside, this apt is part of the view. I've always liked the way he uses his books and collection of bottles as part of the window decor. Anyway, howdy neighbor. :P
