Why the negativity on Somerville and Brookline? Plenty of people live in both of those places and consider themselves Bostonians. They provide good comparisons to living right downtown, and most places in the heart of Boston (Back Bay, Beacon Hill, South End) are all at the high end of prices. You could buy a large blank canvas and paint it a fun color to make it pop. It would be inexpensive and bring that color into the space! Suggestions for Filling Blank Wall? Good Questions |

I painted my celing blue and walls tan similar to the Domino inspired room you pictured - it looks so great! I wish I had gone with a brighter blue though. Depending on the lighting, it sometimes is more mute. Apartment Therapy San Francisco | Inspiration: Ceiling Color We Like |
