nyc444- i also have risers and needed a longer bedskirt. i found mine at bed bath and beyond and it was available in longer length "drops" than the standard 15". if you have a cat, you have a cat. i call mine my "animal". calling it a kitty makes me think you dress it up and stuff. on Flor tiles- i have to say that i have some old zooty tooth tiles in my entry and they are awesome- they're really durable and don't show dirt- no shedding at all. i do work in a store that sells them and i get very few returns of tiles- the only complaint i've heard was that the dark tiles show lint- but that's true of any solid, dark rug. While we're talking about the downsides of jute rugs... If you do have a pet that sheds, jute is impossible to clean. Fido or Fluffy's fur gets way down in the weave, forever. Apartment Therapy - Good Questions: What Do You Think of Jute Rugs? |

My friend graduated a semester before I did and when she told me she wanted to come back NYC to find a job, I let he stay with me. Every time I came home from class she was sitting on my couch in her pjs. I told her she had to leave since she wasn't looking for a job.
