I´m tall as Aurra and vessel sink (we´ve got two in our master bedroom) is not only practical, but also looks great. Ours are brass, and really easy to clean. Water doesn´t splash. I don´t understand why someone says that they look stupid, the vessel sink is different, is another option, and that´s all. Are Vessel Sinks Practical in the Home? Hello Sarah, I´ve put glass in my kitchen, there are two big pieces. They finish approximately 90 cms from the countertop. Nice kitchen! I also did a play kitchen using two Ikea Rast tables, and adding a wood box as a cupboard and a splashback in lime green. When I moved, I decided to combine white for the main building and deep grey, with a touch of blue, for the extension. My neighbour saw the sample on the wall and told me it would look like a prison, but it´s a great combination to live next to the sea, as we do. Look at this, it´s in Valencia, Spain. Your bath has remembered mine in some way, but with the difference that mine was owned (but no budget to make major changes). I suggest you to clean a lot, make the joint tiles white and go for color with accessories and/or art. I´ve also done a low cost headboard.
