Can anyone recommend a way to "insulate" a sliding glass door? It's basically the only light into our tiny kitchen, so I thought of going with plastic insulation, but unfortunately going out the sliding glass door is also the only access to our storage area (think Christmas decorations). My boyfriend and I just moved in together, so on top of tossing/donating/recycling tons of stuff, we realized our 2 closets (yes, 2. In the whole place) aren't actually deep enough for regular hangers. The clothes hit the door when you try and close it....and this isn't the first apt I've had this problem. I live in a huge apartment in Boston (making it pricey in and of itself), and while the kitchen and bathroom could use updating, they did just refinish all the hardwood floors, the space is HUGE, I can paint whatever I want, and I KNOW that if they did the updates there'd be NO WAY I could live where I do...so I'm keeping my trap shut :) Apartment Therapy Los Angeles | Do You Pay a Fair Amount for Rent? |

I painted my new bedroom Behr's Lively Tune (crisp pale blue) - on the walls its the most amazing color ever. I will forever paint a room in my home this color. I just painted my new bedroom a crisp blue from Behr called Lively Tune. I'm obsessed. I was all set to hang things on the walls, but I have yet to hang anything because I don't want to break up the expanse of gorgeous cooling blue. LOVE LOVE LOVE.
