They're all pretty neat but the only one I'd consider using would be the one in the third picture.

I removed the covers on my headphones several times, and have now gone through 3 or 4 pairs because they get so stretched out from doing it. Unless they're made to be removed easy, I don't suggest removing the covers.

I didn't think this was really an idea someone needed a blog post to think of. But anyway, it is nice when done properly. My aunt saw an abstract sort of blocky design in a magazine ages ago and painted a similar divider in her kitchen in that style. She was so ahead of the curve, and it still looks modern and beautiful even today.

Im with Sarah, but I do see the appeal here. However I also love antique trunks because the leather and metal has such charm and elegance, and this totally defeats that.

I think alot of people are going on about the decorating, however I think alot, including myself, have forgotten about the actually apartment, which I adore. It's just the way it's presented that makes it very cold and sad in my eyes.

Everyone has their own tastes, but this is just a bit creepy. Does it remind anyone else of Grey Gardens? Large rooms with not enough furniture or decor. It just feels so sad.

I just recently turned my closet into a workspace. It's pretty basic at the moment, but it's not far from what CNN shows.

Beautiful, and I love Samsung, but having just gotten my first iMac, I have to say that even if the monitor is nice, dealing with all the wires and towers that come with PC's just isn't worth it

I love the house, especially the bedroom. Does anyone know where I can find a comforter like that?

I sorta like it on the tables, for the not so opaque reason you mentioned, but on more organic shapes like the chandelier, It just looks like a messy forgotten about project.

I actually really like the bedframe, it's not done in a cheesy way. As long as it looks good at other angles too. I love the bedroom in general though too, I just adore ceilings like that.

I can't stand that position, whether I'm reading or using my laptop. My most comfortable position is legs semi crossed, with the laptop resting on my feet. It allows some air to circulate beneath the laptop, and something about my torso to leg length ratio keeps it comfortable for me.

I keep seeing the big clock on the monitor like that too. Just got my first mac and I'd love to know how to do that.

Just another little tip with upholstered stuff - I was making an upholstered headboard and went to buy the foam from JoAnne's. They wanted to charge me $70 for foam, and most of it wouldn't even be used in the end. Instead we went to Big Lots and dog a cheap mattress pad. It was way cheaper, and still thick enough to give a good amount of support if you lean on it. Plus with fabric over the foam you'd never know what it actually looks like.

Love the tub in general, would love it more with 3 portholes. 2 makes it look like an odd little creature with big white eyes

I would love something like this, minus the foot board. I actually love sleeping in small places, sorta wrapped up. I really love cozy tiny spots. I also hate how beds take up so much space in a bedroom, since most of my life I've also had to use my bedroom as a studio and reading area, which is difficult in small places, so if you had a deep dormer window like that you could have your bed off to the side and use the rest of the room for something else.

The easy crown molding thing is interesting, but if you can cut it with scissors, it can't be strong. And while I don't have any direct experiences putting in molding, it can't be that hard. I'd rather spend $50 bucks on something that I know will last and work than $110 on something that may fall apart.
