I've been happily using my Brita tank for years. I recently moved to Athens, GA to go back to school, and the tap water just about knocks me out with the chlorine/chemical smell. I can't even make coffee with the straight tap water because the chemical taste is so strong. My Brita has been doing its best, but I've noticed that a green film keeps developing on the bottom of the tank, no matter how many times I wash it. So gross. I've never had this problem before, and I don't even want to think about what is getting through the filter in the water that I am drinking. If Pur can handle this nasty water, it can take on anything. So please send that filter my way. My four dogs will thank you, as they are currently being subjected to straight tap water.

P.S. If you ever need to test a showerhead water filter, I'm your girl! This water is really rough on my hair and skin.
