i feel like this is the dark underbelly of the design world...i'm not a competive person and i'm really turned off by the nasty comments (which is funny, because i love to talk some good sarcastic trash. with that said, i started my own blog with the standarts i saw on AP, Design Spong, and SFGirlbyBay (and major support from my friend http://www.jessicasutton.com/daucuscarota/). Hi everyone - I found an awesome seller on CL who delivered the side rails tonight. They fit perfectly and he didnt charge a lot! I let him keep the headboard and footboard bc he said he could probably sell them without the side rails. Now, depending on how the mattress rests on the side rails I will follow Madie's suggestion. Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I have contacted almost every bed store and vintage dealers in MA and beyond...This bed has become a fun challenge on my resource skills :) bepsf, that sounds like a great idea! I found someone on CL selling a vintage bed with what appears to be the rails I need...if it doesn't work out I will try your method. I love her rugs, I have the brown one with the colorful dots...super soft and not made by children! I orginally wanted the seaglass one but the store didnt have it anymore. Something like this would also be cool. I went to see this little coffee table in person, its beautiful but the glass top doesn't fit it...I would get rid of the glass top. This table lifts and you can add more tabs to make it a dinning table. Brimfield is awesome. Bring lots of cash - but they do have ATMS. Its helpful to make a list of what you want bc its easy to get distracted by things you didnt even know you needed...Wear comfy walking shoes. I bring my own lunch but they do have food vendors.
