It's a bit too bad you are bolstering votes for the top ten rather than showcasing some of the "sleeper hits." It's really no longer a level playing field...

That's some terrible Photoshop clone stamping on picture 21. Why even do it if picture 23 shows the electric panel?

I loved how there are so many cozy spots to sit in this house. It makes me feel like this family is very welcoming of guests and lazing around and being together. All things I highly approve of! And, yes, that kitty snoozing against the laptop made my morning. My own cat is no doubt doing the same thing at my house.

This is the exact size, shape and height from the street as my balcony! I never thought to put a table out there. This is such a happy little jewel.

it's sad that their logo is grammatically incorrect. someone should tell them.

Oh, and I would remove the center shelf and replace with a large mirror or art piece.

In my old apt, I had essentially the same solution and didn't mind how it looked: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ooh_food/1355482235/in/set-72157601950420297/

I would replace that top shelf with one that's appropriately sized. If you don't think you can fill the shelves entirely (essentially causing the shelf itself to disappear) then take down one side. The symmetry won't matter much.

It really is a very valuable space-saving setup. If you want to make it disappear more, paint the shelves or use nicer (or double thickness) boards.

Ingenious! The pictures are great, also. What a creative, inventive use of space and design.

Regarding no doors for intimate moments: it's always nice to have a door that locks for privacy but with a 4 year old, you probably wouldn't do that anyway because a) they would freak out if locked out of a room or b) for safety reasons. Let's hope she's a heavy sleeper!

Veruca, I think it's against the rules to add links here but go to Design Sponge and search for "maggi desk". Letteretcher, it's mostly fabric on stretcher bars. That's my absolute favorite way to do fun, big impact pieces on a budget.

pvett: LOL, I have three other bookshelves that aren't pictured. I can't seem to pare the books down. The dining table is Room & Board. It's a cherry butcherblock top on chrome legs (I forget what those 3 bar legs are called). I don't see this as an option on their site anymore. I customized it from different top/leg choices. The bentwood ply chairs are also Room & Board and also sadly gone from their site.

Thanks for the nice comments! The paint is a BM Aura color but copied to Valspar. I can't remember the color and I've lost the paint chip. Maybe it's Eternity? I realized I forgot to include the bathroom but it really is only 360 sq. feet. (The bedroom and living room are 9x13.5 and the kitchen is 10x11.) I would love to ditch the ugly cabinets but I'm renting, so you know, I have to take what I can get. The sheepskin is a rug draped over the rocking chair. The wall-mounted console is a DIY. and yep, it's a kippan sofa ottoman. I'm saving up for a real (tiny) sectional.

Maxwell, Why is it that you keep reposting stuff you posted only a week ago? It is incredibly annoying and seems pointless as evidenced by the lack of comments. We've all read this already.

I think maybe it sticks out more *now*. What about a more matte silver? I have two white radiators and two silver and the silver ones have a cool vintage feel while the white ones collect dust and just look dirty. (However, the more paint layers you put on a radiator, the worse it actually works, unfortunately.)
