This is hardly a fair solution for all members of the household. If all members of the household are equally contributing to the wireless bill, they should all have equal browsing speed. If streaming and downloads is creating consistent issues with everyone else's internet experience, then an arrangement needs to be made with guilty parties. I think these are great alternatives if you don't have the space/budget for a headboard. But I really appreciate the functional aspect, which is that I can lean against the headboard without pushing my bed away from the wall. I take off shoes while inside, but I lean towards wearing socks, house slippers, or anything that is light, cottony, and lets me stretch out my toes. Carpets can get dingy from walking around barefoot on them. The fibers pick up the oils from the skin on the bottom of your feet.
