I have to get this off my chest because every single time pictures appear of bookshelves organized by colour, this ridiculous debate comes up.

I really can't believe how snobbish people are about the whole "books organized by colour" thing. Do you really think that only people who organize their books by subject can be frequent and passionate readers? If so, wait 'til you hear this: my books aren't organized by ANYTHING! Not even colour! You may be shocked to learn I haven't dissolved into a puddle of disorganized chaos yet, and I certainly haven't given up on reading. Judge if you will but the thing is, I happen to know what my books look like. What a concept! I do just fine and I am an avid reader, thank you very much.

So please, give me a break already with the condescending attitudes. Do you honestly find books organized by colour so tiresome that some of you are actually asking AT to stop featuring the homes of people who do that? Get over it!

I want to know where that low white cabinet is from too! It would be perfect under the two low windows in my bedroom.

I've sold things on Ebay before and I always make sure to cover myself in the listing before hand. For instance I'll clearly state that if the buyer does purchase the item from me they must know that I can't control the mail and that I don't provide refunds if the item is lost of damaged in them mail. Its a risk they're taking if they choose to buy them item from me.

Are there some sources online where one could get authentic Navajo designs from the Navajo people? I feel like that could be something interesting to feature on AT. Maybe other Native American groups as well? I'd far rather have the real thing, and better yet, know what it means to the people who created it, than something mass produced, beautiful though it is.

Another option: knit or crochet your own?

None of you see how its possible that some people, depending on their job and lifestyle, might have a little extra time on their hands with their kids in school?

Those pretzels look fantastic! I'm planning on lots of baking once the weather cools down, so this is great. Not sure I can quite wrap my head around chocolate covered beer marshmallows, though...

I've never given a hoot about calories one way or another. I have no clue how many calories I consume each day, or what would be a good amount for me. I just make sure I eat healthy food (not too many treats and lots of fruit/veg) and stop eating when I'm full; easy-peasy. That in combination with regular exercise is what works for me. I'll never count calories, its too boring!

Keep stuff up off the floor! Having as few things on the floor as possible makes cleaning much easier and also makes the house feel more open and tidy. :)

I have a list of basics that absolutely MUST get done every day: the kitchen, the cat litter, water the garden in the summer, and sweep (a German Shepherd and two cats= lots of hair!).

Other than that, I try to clean for an hour a day, so it never feels overwhelming and I don't have to spend a while day cleaning. Id rather do other things on the weekend!

I get inspired by reading AT, the fact that my mom and dad are my landlords, fancy cleaning products, and the feeling of a nice, clean house :)

I brought my own shampoo and conditioner when I backpacked through Europe, and I definitely wish it would have been possible to bring my own pillow, some of those hostel pillows sucked. I also kept my cell phone with me at all times, just because it was nice to know that no matter where I was, I could call home if I really needed to. It also had lots of pictures of my boyfriend, parents, sister and cats on it, which I flipped through when feeling home sick.

It always hurts my heart a little when big old trees like that fall down. I feel like theres a history to them, something stoic and grand. It's probably silly but I'm sorry for the loss of your tree! Maybe plant a new one in it's honor?
