So many amazing artisans. Some of my favorites:

These are gorgeous hand-woven scarves at amazing prices. I have one on my dresser that I use as a runner when it's too hot to wear.

Every year these folks come out with gorgeous frame-worthy calendars that sell out so fast I've never managed to get one. Looks like they're already selling 2011.

I had a dish chair like that. It was from Pier 1 Imports, but that was about five years ago. We bought it on sale because the wicker was a little broken and put down a pillow just like in the picture. Left it behind when we moved. It was great in a small corner. Good luck!

jchan: the color of the living and dining look very much like the color I used for my bedroom, which is Benjamin Moore's "Jamestown Blue". Always hard to tell under different lighting conditions, but I hope that helps as a start.

I remember this bathroom from the earlier feature. It is beautiful. Can't help but feel that it would take quite a lot of patience to lay that kind of tile. Very nice work.

The roof deck is definitely the key element.
cardboard: bidets are standard issue in Italian homes. It's not considered a luxury.
