Mandi never disappoints, regardless if the project is old or new, hers turned out fab and fun!

It wouldn't be AT if people weren't booing and saying they were so over something! (: I personally still love them and love the architectural element they bring to a room!

I work from home part time and make a significant amount less then my husband. I do the majority of the housework during the week but he does the yard work and shoveling, etc. I think we both are appreciative of each other and what we both bring to the table, both a nice home and a nice income, there is no score sheet, it just works if that makes sense.

It seems like everytime I end up commenting its to comment about how insanely negative AT's commentors are! I get not everyone likes everything but sometimes a desk is a desk & I think this looks great and I love when people are able to come up with things by chance like this!

Ugh why do I continue to read AT comments, I've never come across so many people that bitch and gripe and moan as the people on here.

I'm doing this same thing to a pair of sheets that I'm using in my foyer as curtains! It's a great statement piece! I love Lauren's style and her children's rooms, especially because they don't look to much like children's rooms.

I love everything about this room but am quite jealous this baby has a campaign dresser, I'm 39 and still am without one!!

I wish my first place looked like these!!! Sadly mine was filled with stop signs a blow up mattress and red plastic baskets used as dishes stolen from the restaurant I worked at! Great pics!

Why is a burlap skirt ridiculous? That's just silly, I love the texture it brings into the room and for $500.00 all I can say is what a transformation!!

Oh no, I just moved into my new home and picked gray for most of the rooms and thought I was keeping up and not picking something that was on its way out! Good thing I'm not one to be in or out obsessed. I think your home is like your wardrobe, you buy what you love and pick up pieces now and then that gives the room our outfit a kick. I think if you love it then it works. And ikat...I've loved that since first learning about it in my textiles class many many years ago!!

Love her blog and love this feature on AT, so nice to see all the rooms in one read. She has incredible taste and seems incredibly down to earth and cool. My favorite room in her place is the kitchen, superb remodel and renovation!

I always take a shower and get ready in the morning, make up and all regardless if I'm going anywhere but especially if I'm doing a project because I guarantee I'm going to have to run to the hardware store in the middle of it and I guarantee if I look like a slob I'll run into someone I know!!

I actually set the table on Monday and is all ready for Thanksgiving. With a daughter with lots of activities and family coming in for the holidays its one less thing I have to do and my daughter thinks its a special treat to have picnics in the living room for a few days!

I like the bright colors, the artwork and the lived in vibe of the house. Anything that is beautiful and actually appears that a human being lives there always scores points with me! Cool space!

That's a great idea to share like that I never thought about that. I just don't our society sometimes, we all are about global warming and less is more and green but we end up paying so much if we don't by in bulk?!

I love both rooms, there's nothing safe (design-wise) about either room, they pushed it to the max and that's what I love about both of them. I think I like the boy's room the best, which is crazy because usually I'm all about little girl's rooms!
