Very, very cute and homey! I'd be quite content spending a few months of my year in a place like that.

The first photo is so fresh and inviting. Just perfect for stepping into after a shower or bath. What a great find.

I have never used shutters for a decorating project, but I always love the look of them! I think it's only a matter of time before I incorporate them into my own home.

I love shutters as a headboard. But more importantly, this room is gorgeous! Too gorgeous for my lifestyle, of course, but so easy on the eyes.

i'm not a fan of bare wood cabinets at all. white, light green and black are my favorites for the kitchen. kind of classic and soothing - the soothing is key considering my culinary anxieties.

This is really genius! I've always had a hard time parting with my spent candles, but usually I stash them all together in a box until the scents all blend into one and I'm forced to throw them away. Never again will I make that mistake - now it's onto more fragrant drawers in '10.

That's a really beautiful shelf. A part of me would want to use books of significance to me, but then again, I would feel badly about abusing the books. I like that he finds a home for the rare and/or valuable books. It shows a great respect for his materials and projects!

I definitely did this over the dining room table at my parents' home last x-mas, and absolutely loved the look! Unfortunately, my rather traditional mom rolled her eyes and scorned the look all through the holiday. I'll sadly be keeping the ornaments off of her light fixtures when I head home this holiday season.

I love their book and photography collections. And the bathroom is really quite fun!

Love the use of branches! They're such a great way to bring nature indoors when the weather makes you want to avoid going outside.
