Very, very nice. The only thing I'd change is also part of my favorite part- the slate stairs. The half tiles on the left/right sides have exposed cuts that, to me, look slightly unfinished.

Really? A fort is a home hack? These are getting more and more out there, almost as if there's a need for filler posts.

I've had fruit fly families try to move in with me in a few apartments, and what works every time is the Vector 960 Fruit Fly Trap. It's a small round container with holes in the lid and a syrupy goo inside. Just put one on a high shelf where it won't get knocked down and most will be gone within a couple days.

You can even buy them on eBay if your local pest control doesn't do retail sales (or if you don't one local to you).

-Small 4 bottle wine rack, possibly with glass storage (upside down, you don't want dust in the glasses).
-Martini set.
-Glass carafe set with glasses on a dedicated tray. Vodka's nice because it's clear, don't get scotch or whiskey unless you'll drink it.
-Live bamboo sticks in a vase.
-Small indoor planter with simple green grass.
-If you can pull it off, a sunflower.
