This post amuses me. Very informative - but the notion that BDXL will make it into consumer homes any time soon is really comical. Sony is still spending hundreds of millions out of pocket to get Blu-Ray adopted into consumers homes now. The biggest battle being Online Media and the other being people who just don't see the value over DVD. If you are trying to decide whether to wait-it-out because your afraid your BD player will be absolute in a year or two, don't worry - it wont (well that is if you get a player that can have it's firmware upgraded - PS3!). Sony will milk every penny out of blu-ray format for the next 5-7 years. They are far too invested to risk burning out the consumer with a format change this early.

Go get a ps3 and a reasonably priced HDTV and enjoy some beautiful HD'ness.

Again - the comparison is moot - an actually product (iPad) vs. a concept (Courier). Microsoft has a long history of doing incredible concept products and videos but always seem to either water them down distastefully when the product is actually launched - or it simply never comes out.

Unplggd - I dont mean to be rude here - but honestly, this is a terrible comparison.

this kinda reminds me of when unplggd posted an old school "how to use computers" spoof video that had all king of 2 bit graphic porn in it. A blunder? or is unlpggd just kinda perverted? I think the latter.

I can't get over how much this represents the female anatomy - oh wait - it's actually named "G-Spot" mouse and it isn't even a real product. Sigh, somehow i am always slightly disappointed with unplggd's slight lack of professional journalism. Yet i keep coming back?

Too good to be true....Yes.

The actual specs are rather disappointing. But you really get what you pay for - as the old adage goes.

Intel Atom processor (ultra low power and heat - also makes for ultra low processing) and Intel GMA 950 Integrated graphics are a major buzz-kill for anyone doing anything with media. Intel graphics running a 20" display is like snail graphics. But that's a big reason the price is so low.

Oh - and it has Windows on it. Unless you are into that kind of thing.
