whether its a sponsored post or not by you giving them an "independent product review" doesn't bode well for AT.
i guess if i had a blog that touted the "green aspect" and "reduce/reuse/recycle" theology and then review cigarettes on my blog with the caveat that they are my personal views. Living green doesn't just apply to the planet, but to humans as well.

like that you added this since my comment

how clever of you.

an fyi:
From Wikipedia.org
"Critics say acesulfame potassium has not been studied adequately and may be carcinogenic"
"Some potential effects associated with Acesulfame K have appeared in animal studies. Acesulfame K has been shown to stimulate dose-dependent insulin secretion in rats..."

Acesulfame Potassium is in MIO.

i'm interested in seeing what the ingredients are...
just because it's sugar free doesn't mean that its good for someone. i would rather drink the sugar (within reason) than the artificial sweeteners for the sake of "sugar-free"

Everyone keeps harping on the "inspector" factor. Let me just say that we had an inspector and he didn't find everything AND they hold NO LIABILITY. NONE. Sure they can make you aware of more things that would have been missed, BUT they are not the saving grace when it comes to buying a home. Inspectors dont snake drains to the city hookup to make sure there is no blockage, they do not open up walls, cannot tell if all of the electrical is old or new behind walls or in ceilings, they are human and unfortunately miss a lot of things. They hold no liability if they miss something or underestimate damage.

All I am saying is that when an inspector walks in the door don't expect a choir of angles to start singing.

With my two older boys I used our Britax Roundabout instead of the infant seat because they were SO BIG! They had hit the weight limit (20lbs then) on the infant seats at 10 weeks. When my daughter came along she was a lot more petite than her older brothers so we opted for the Graco Infant Snug Ride and matching stroller. Since pediatricians are suggesting infants/toddlers stay rear facing until at least 2 now we just moved her over to the Britax at the rear facing position at a year.

I think it all depends on how much/often one will be in the car, the size of the infant, and if the child sleeps in the car. my daughter would not sleep in the car so we could have completely forgone the infant seat and not worried about waking her while in transition. oh well......

I saw some cute Cowboy/Cowgirl themed parties as well as Circus/Carnival stuff for boys and girls.

Circus/Carnival -
you could set up a fun table with jars full of candy and the kids can decorate their own cupcakes or take home goodie bags. fun, colorful buntings, etc

Cowboy/Cowgirl -
you could have a lot of fun with bandannas, boots, hats, badges, etc

we have a huge chalkboard in our kitchen with a calendar and space for our children's artwork on the bottom. when we painted the hardy board we started off with 6 coats of magnetic paint then topped with 2 coats of chalkboard paint. It is aprox 6'x4' with no border/frame or ledge. the chalk wipes right off the walls and the dust sweeps right up. easy peasy. and it's a ton of fun!
love to see these showcased! saw one on "selling new york" and it was in a multi-million dollar loft. everyone loves them. :D

we live a little farther out that what is considered the suburbs of St. Louis on the Illinois side. Its a small town and we have a house in the "downtown" area of the town. we are in walking distance from the town square, library, school, post office, restaurants, parks, etc and are still only 35 minutes from downtown St. Louis. It suits us perfectly!

I would second the changing table as a waste and i used cloth diapers for over 2 years (BumGenius one-size). It's totally personal preference. I would rather have the room for other things like book case and stuff like that. If you are tight on space you would probably only need beds, toy bin/basket, book case for books and bins at bottom & dresser. We put an extra dresser in the closet for out of season and larger sized clothes.

good luck with the little ones!

i think it goes with out saying that the cords are going to show if you want to light up the lanterns. these look like they have been hung with fishing line. maybe paint the cord the same color as the ceiling and then when it turns and goes down the wall paint it the wall color?
