I had the foresight to get engaged there. Now we have an excuse that has brought us back every year!

@Sam I Am, I think you meant to say urinals are in 49% of all public restrooms. ; )

For those who haven't been, I recommend the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, MA.

Can you please point me to where on the New York Spaces website I can find this home? Perhaps I'm just dense, but I'm a big Rossiter fan, but can't locate the article.

That must be a very old quote. She doesn't live at Turkey Hill anymore. And, if Cantitoe Corners can't be called a mansion, I don't know what is.

Otherwise, yes, I agree with your fawning.

The living wall at Pure Yoga on E. 86th St has seen better days, too. I think the scaffolding covering it for work on the tower above has had a harmful effect.

That looks just like the image on the cover of one of my mother's old Betty Crocker cookbooks for party entertaining. Except that the cookbook picture was a nighttime image and there were guests enjoying the balcony. I always thought it was a very chic.

Cute. But, I wouldn't envy removing the multiple layers of paper where it overlaps.

Until recently, I've always moved myself and have done so often.

My girlfriend and I live in NYC and for the last move we found a moving company on a "Priceline" type website and only paid $350 for the entire move -- two walk-up apartments to one elevator apt.

It was phenomenal. I'll never move myself again.

I think it's fine if it's done with a tongue firmly planted in cheek, such as calling a home "Wit's End."

Sleeping porch. I've never had one, but have always wanted one.

My grandfather and his brothers grew up using a sleeping porch, even sometimes in the New England winter.

The one inch variation in height between the second pictures from the top would drive me completely batty.

Beautiful home and a great addition to AT. I particularly loved the small elephant sculpture obscuring the floor outlet. The whole vignette of the table and charis with the rooster sculpture is magnifacent.

What is your wallpaper source? I took a quick look at Farrow and Ball's website, but I didn't recognize them.
